If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified this office at least 24 hours in advance you will be charged a fee (to be determined).

Confidentiality Statement
The law protects the relationship between a client and a Confidentiality & Privacy Policy. The law protects the relationship between a client and a therapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.

Exceptions include:
Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/persons,
I must notify the police and inform the intended victim. If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
First, confidentiality is assured - only you and your therapist have access to your records, not your insurance company. Your confidentiality can be limited when you elect to use insurance for payment of services.
Second, there are no restrictions on how you find the right therapist or what services you decide to use. This flexibility is something you will not find if you elect to use insurance to pay for services.
